The annual International Food Fair in Nelspruit will once again offer a delectable spread from countries all over the world. It will be held on Friday, 2 June from 17:30 for 18:00 at Church Unlimited on the Barberton Road. It is the ninth year that the Fair is presented.

How it works?
Tickets will be sold at two central ticket offices. You can use these tickets at any of the stalls on the evening. Each stall will represent a different country, serve its traditional food and dress up in the national costume of that country. The portions are smaller so that patrons will be able to sample many different styles of food on one night. Most dishes will cost R15 per portion. Some local chefs and restaurants will also join in to offer a real  gourmet experience for local foodies. Three coffee shops will cater for the dry throats. No alcohol will be on sale.

What is there to eat?
There will be a great variety to choose from some 26 stalls including South African favourites such as bobotie and bunny chow to Indian and Malay curries, prego’s, schnitzels, Indonesian Satays, spring rolls and much more. There will also be delectable range of sweet stuff such as Swedish mud pies, home baked cookies, sweets and cakes. Watch this space for an updated list!

What to do?
A variety of live music will be on offer on three stages during the evening with local band Gibraltar, Saxophonist Barry Odendaal and a Classical Youth ensemble as some of the main items on the music menu. There are three dedicated seating areas where you will be able to enjoy your food while listening to the music.

How much?
Entrance and parking is free. Come early to avoid disappointment.

Church Unlimited is situated 1km past the TUT on the Barberton Road.
